Dr. Gregory Goldstein is the Founder and CEO of MetisMD, one of the world’s leading online radiology companies. MetisMD was created as a natural extension to his sub-specialty radiology practice – a practice that has grown significantly since its inception in 2005. His vision for MetisMD was sparked by the quickly changing health care landscape, the growing importance of consumer driven health care, and the vital role diagnostic imaging plays in medicine today.
Dr. Goldstein developed Connected RadiologySM after seeing the need to maximize collaboration and engagement, including his patients as a vital part of the care team. Connected Radiology is a comprehensive, personalized approach to radiologic secondary reviews, designed to empower patients.
Dr. Goldstein is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and has extensive experience in both Orthopedic and Neurologic Imaging; his peers, law firms, and physicians frequently consult him for his expertise.
Dr. Goldstein is currently the medical director of multiple radiology imaging facilities, and in the past has held high level positions in hospital radiology departments. He completed his radiology residency training at the University of Michigan Health System and then continued on to a fellowship through Northwestern Medical School. Dr. Goldstein has been in private practice since 2001 and currently resides in Chicago with his wife and two children.
Julie Goldstein is the CFO of MetisMD. Previously, Julie was a Partner at Cityfront Capital Partners, a private equity fund that she co-founded in 2006. Prior to Cityfront, Julie was a Director at One Equity Partners, the private equity arm of JP Morgan. Julie received a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University and an MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management with a concentration in Finance, Management, and Strategy.
In his role as company Advisor, Jeffery helps provide broad oversight to help set strategy and drive growth. He is current CEO to iProtean, a video e-learning platform for board of trustees and executives for hospital and health care systems. Jeffery is also a management consultant with Veralon, helping shape their innovation and digital technology efforts. He is recognized in San Diego for fostering entrepreneurship and social innovation at universities and the broader start-up community. He has participated in two TEDx Talks and is featured in several national publications for his work in consumer start-ups. Jeffery received a B.A. in Political Science from University of Maryland, where he graduated class valedictorian; and a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown Law Center.
Liz Epstein has been serving as Practice Manager for MetisMD since its inception and has enjoyed an impressive career in the medical field for nearly 35 years. She holds a degree in Psychology from Roosevelt University Chicago, with a concentration in health and wellness. Liz brings an unmistakable commitment to her role, working closely with physicians, diagnostic centers, patients, and families to improve every aspect of the health care experience. When Liz is not running point at our MetisMD office, you can find her with her family, knitting, with a great classic novel in hand, or with her beloved pug in lap, ‘Ms. Beulah Rae.’
